Terms and Conditions of Psychological Services

1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions set out the rules governing the use of paid psychological consultations and short-term psychological support provided by Marta Paturalski as part of her independent professional practice in Germany.
The services are intended for adults and are provided in Polish, in person at the practice in Bad Bentheim.
2. Types of services provided
The following services are offered:
- Psychological consultation - an individual meeting to discuss the client's current situation, needs and expectations, and to consider possible next steps.
- Short-term psychological support - continued meetings following the initial consultation if it is jointly agreed that this form of support is appropriate.
The services are provided privately and are subject to a fee. They are not billed directly to statutory health insurance (GKV).
The services do not replace psychotherapy or psychiatric treatment.
3. Booking appointments and registration form
Consultation appointments are arranged individually by telephone, message or email.
Before the first consultation, the client receives a registration form, which must be completed and submitted before the appointment.
The form is used to collect the information necessary for the organisation and proper provision of the service and for maintaining the relevant documentation.
Before completing the form, the client has the opportunity to review these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.
4. Duration and location of appointments
Each appointment lasts 50 minutes.

If the client arrives late, the appointment will not automatically be extended. In the event of a significant delay, the appointment may be shortened accordingly.
5. Fees and payment
The fee for one appointment is:
80 €
Payment is due on the day of the appointment and can be made in cash or by card, unless another method of payment has been agreed.
In the event of late payment, the service provider may pursue outstanding amounts in accordance with applicable law.
6. Cancellation or rescheduling
An appointment may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge no later than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
If an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, or if the client does not attend, a fee of 50% of the appointment price may be charged for the unused appointment.
The client may demonstrate that the cancellation or failure to attend resulted in no loss or in a loss significantly lower than the fee charged.
7. Confidentiality and data protection
Information obtained in connection with the provision of services is treated as confidential and protected in accordance with applicable law.
The client's personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR/DSGVO).
The scope, purpose and legal basis of data processing, as well as information regarding the electronic registration form and any external services used, are described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Limits of the services provided
Psychological consultations do not replace medical or psychiatric care in situations where such care is required.
In the event of an immediate risk to life or health, the client should immediately call the emergency number 112 or go to the nearest emergency department.
The service provider may decline to begin or continue working with a client if she determines that the client's needs fall outside the scope of the services offered or require another appropriate form of professional support.
9. Ending the professional relationship
The client may stop using the services at any time.
The service provider may also end the professional relationship if there is an important reason to do so, particularly where continuing to provide the services would not be appropriate due to the client's needs, the safety of either party, or other significant circumstances.
10. Right of withdrawal
If the client is entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht), the client will be informed of this right in the form required by law.
11. Final provisions
The contractual relationship between the service provider and the client is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
If any individual provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
